Led by Carlo Vimercati
Carlo Vimercati is a paragliding pilot, ski instructor and mountain bike guide with a life shaped by the Alps. His connection with Engadin began long before Alpine Lines: childhood memories, mountain days and a lasting fascination for free flight gradually became a way of living and working in the mountains.
More about Carlo →A personal way to read the mountains.
Carlo Vimercati is a paragliding pilot, ski instructor and mountain bike guide based between Engadin and Italy. His connection with Engadin began long before Alpine Lines, through childhood memories, mountain days and a landscape that became part of his identity.
Before flying became central, Carlo’s path went through off-road and speed motorcycles. What stayed constant was the search for terrain, movement, precision and progression — the possibility to train seriously and become better at reading the environment.
He began paragliding in 2019 at Cornizzolo, above Suello and close to Lecco. From there, flying became a discipline: first with enthusiasm and volume, then with more method, quality and attention to conditions.
A line is never just a route. It is a decision shaped by terrain, weather, timing and respect for the day. Alpine Lines is about reading the mountain before moving through it.
